Los Payasos Mendigos (the beggar clowns) ran riot over much of the West Coast, Canada, Europe and the UK for 8 years. Their productions included Circo Payaso complete with water ballet, stunt babies, whip cracking, fire juggling and bull fighting. Their madcap style meshed perfectly with their absurdist adaptation of Don Quixote, Hombres de la Mancha. Dressed in spandex rumoured to be leftovers from a Madonna tour, they entertained thousands with their irreverent style, slapstick comedy and colorful characters.
